Bears Beat Bengals in Game of the Year

November 2nd 2025, The Bengals host the Bears in a week 9 game that could mean something come January for the playoffs.  Cairo Santos kicks off for the Bears and Charlie Jones catches the kickoff and takes it all the way back for a touchdown, Score 7-0 Bengals. The Bears get the ball and with the help of a few Bengals penalties including an offsides on a Cairo Santos missed field goal, they are in the red zone and on 4th and goal the Bears run a double reverse and D.J Moore passes to Caleb Williams for the touchdown. Score 7-7.  Bengals go down and Chase Brown drops the ball on 3rd down forcing an Evan McPherson field goal. 10-7 Bengals. Bears go on a 11 play 74 yard drive and Caleb Williams throws to Olamide Zaccheaus for a 15 yard touchdown. Bears up 14-10. Fast forward to the final minute of the game. The Bears were up 41-27 looking to get a stop and salt the game away. Joe Flacco passes to Noah Fant for a 23 yard touchdown and Tee Higgins converts the 2 point conversion. Score 41-35. The Bengals need an onside kick for a shot. They line up for the onside kick and the ball hits a Bears player in the foot and the Bengals get the ball back. The Bengals go on a 6 play 57 yard drive and Joe Flacco throws to Andrei Iovias for a touchdown and the kick is good. 41-42 Bengals. The Bengals kick off and Chicago returns it to the 28 yard line. 3rd and 10, The bears need this conversion for even a shot at a win, Caleb Williams scrambles right and picks up 14 yards and a first down for the Bears. The next play Caleb Williams drops back and fires across the middle, The ball is caught by Colston Loveland and he bounces off 2 Bengals defenders and takes it 58 yards for the game winning touchdown.
