This weekend, a group of dedicated students will represent our school at the Statehouse for the regional Ohio History Day competition. This year's participants have poured months of effort into complex group projects that align with the 2026 theme: "Revolution, Reaction, and Reform in History." From exploring the artistic breakthroughs of Renaissance masters to analyzing the global response to ozone layer depletion and the fight for women’s education, these students have balanced rigorous academic research with the high-level collaboration required for such an intensive competition.

We are incredibly proud of the hard work and organization displayed by Selamawit Mulugeta, Lauren Mahoney, Arianna Williams, Layla Price, Aaralyn Scarf, Isha Bista, Clara Lynn Shiflett, Evelyn Rossi, Ekam Judge, and Evangeleepha Rai. Please join us in wishing them the best of luck as they compete for a spot in the state competition this April! Their commitment to uncovering the stories of the past truly embodies the spirit of our school community.
