Senior Sunrise
On August 18th at 6:15 in the morning seniors at Licking Heights High School celebrated the beginning of the end of high school by gathering together and watching the sunrise. The seniors celebrated this big milestone all together at the Licking Heights football stadium. Many seniors came with all of their closest friends. They took pictures, brought snacks, and even made signs. There was a mix of tiredness and excitement as we started our last year of high school but there was more meaning to this morning than just a sunrise.
Senior sunrise represents new beginnings in the lives of the class of 2027. After this year we will all be off to bigger and better things, some going into the work force full-time, some serving in the military, and some going to college to earn higher education. No matter where all of us end up, we all learned many things from our years at Licking Heights High School.
Let's all celebrate our class of 2027 for their hard work over the last few years. The
students in the class of 2027 are truly world changers. They have made a strong impact at heights and will continue to impact the world around them.
