Feed by M.T. Anderson: The story of the future of how people had internet access just by using your brain to gain you internet access, but is it really worth it? Plot: The story begins when Titus the main character and his friends meets this beautiful girl named Violet who doesn't like the Feed because of all the negative affects the feed is doing to everyone overtime as Titus and Violet become closer the Feed steps in the way of their relationship to promote all their consumerist culture while also facing severe environmental changes due to corporations. The story continues with Titus as he Continues his relationship with Violet, who attempts to fight against the feed. Their resistance is met with social consequences, and as their relationship develops, they become increasingly aware of the dystopian reality around them, including the environmental devastation that society is ignoring.  Themes: The theme of the story is that technology, consumerism, and the loss of critical thinking make companies obtain corporate greed that hurts the impact of human relationships but also hurts the environmental changes because of the corporations this also affected a lot of the story as well because over time during the story they even took away trees to make factories that make oxygen for you showing how greedy companies can really be another thing the companies did is basically control you and profit off you they could also have your person freedom and basically killed of environmentally stability hurting the earth and basically almost letting the earth end because of how greedy the companies were. Impact: The impact of this story is telling us that using huge amounts of technology can lead to very dangerous things such as how technology can take over the world by controlling you with their technology and that is what the feed basically is it basically puts you in a state so deep you don’t even notice your surroundings which is what the companies of feed wanted to happen because it got so bad that the oceans were green and some were even purple because of how bad the environment was treated when they had the feed showing that if someone gets new technology they are basically not even human anymore because they are just being control at that point because the feed is basically doing everything for them to the point where they don’t even knowing what is happening to the outside worldEnd: In the end of the story Violet gets sick because of her broken feed leading her to fall ill because of the feed making her sick and sicker everyday knowing Violet didn’t have much time left so she tries her hardest to destroy the feed once and for all and in the end Violet becomes so sick to the point where she can’t do anything about it eventually succumbing to the feed as she passes away ending the story and Violet never actually destroying the feed.
